THE BRAVE UNSEEN (An AFDA Honours Production)

“The Brave Unseen follows the life of Grace, an insecure lesbian police woman, threatened by the new thug on the block, a homophobe called Olwethu. Just as she is about to give up on herself she meets Emma, an inspiring social worker, who makes her realize that no one will respect you if you do not respect yourself. The two woman fall in love and Grace starts to come to terms with herself not only as a lesbian, but also as a woman in a man’s world. But the happiness doesn’t last as Emma is raped by Olwethu and dies of internal injuries. Grace considers taking revenge on Olwethu, but she does not go through with her plan as she realizes that an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.”
